Power of Listening

William Ury draws on the power of listening to develop trust, resolve conflicts, and have successful negotiations. He indicates that listening is a process of active comprehension and validation of others' perspectives to allow connection and collaboration to take place. In actual fact, when we genuinely hear from others, underlying interests can be found, tensions can be reduced, and solutions which work for everyone can be created.
